Elopement officiant & celebrant serving western Colorado & eastern utah/moab

To elope used to mean "to run away secretly, with the intention of getting married" — usually without parental consent…

But Eloping has also meant, and still means,
“To escape"

With this connotation, today, it can mean escape from it all (to escape from making a guest list, picking out invitations, being the center of attention, choosing colors, buying favors, feeding everyone…) and leaving that behind to "grab the keys and hit the road!"

“Eloping” also has become shorthand for a small destination wedding or a wedding that is not financially insane!!

Your Elopement Officiant

Are you looking for someone to give a voice to your ceremony?

Are you needing help to create a ceremony that is meaningful with personal touches?

I am Kathi Roy, a professionally trained wedding officiant and end of life celebrant.

After witnessing ceremonies that were not personal, I wanted to explore ways to imagine differently and give meaning to today's modern transitional ceremonies.

With my local connections, I can help you have an intimate, meaningful, one-of-a-kind ceremony that captures the spirit of eloping -- just you two lovebirds, a beautiful setting with meaningful words and photos that you will cherish forever.

Create a Meaningful Ceremony

Finding the right words along with the most heartfelt rituals are what bring a ceremony to life.

I have a calling to craft your words and emotions into a ceremony that indelibly marks your transition and honors your intention and spirit. Honoring the passages in our life cycle is a way to live in the moment, acknowledge and reflect while we honor the pastpresent and future.

As a Life Cycle Celebrant, I’ve learned to co-create a ceremony for clients by really listening to their stories, desires and beliefs.

I am happy to share my experience and details with you! For ideas or inspiration call, text or email me.

*** If I’m not available, I may be able to help by having me write your ceremony for a family member or friend to deliver!
