Weddings

Each wedding ceremony is unique, so exact quotes are offered to each couple depending on your needs, the date, ceremony elements and location. On average I spend 15- 20 hours to create a personal ceremony.

Most ceremonies include:

  • Unlimited communication and support

  • Kathi’s collaborative insights from your inspiration, together with offerings for unity ceremonies, honoring loved ones, readings/meaningful passages

  • Tips for writing your own vows (Wedding Vow Worksheet)

  • Coordination with your wedding team, like photographers, musicians/DJs, and planners to ensure a smooth experience for all

  • Helping to coordinate a one hour rehearsal, if necessary

  • Filing the marriage license

  • Providing a beautiful ceremony keepsake

Elopements

Each elopement ceremony is unique, so exact quotes are offered to each couple depending on your needs, the date, ceremony elements and location. On average I spend 15+ hours to create a personal ceremony.

Most ceremonies include:

  • Unlimited communication and support

  • Kathi’s collaborative insights from your inspiration, together with offerings for unity ceremonies, honoring loved ones, meaningful passages

  • Help with logistics and ensuring your peace of mind

  • Tips for writing your own vows

  • Coordination with your elopement pros, like photographers, planners, musicians, and transport to provide a great experience

  • Filing the marriage license

  • Providing a beautiful ceremony keepsake

Celebrations of Life

Typical Celebration of Life ceremonies include:

  • Interview session with the client/family to gather information (up to 2 hours)

  • Drafting of custom ceremony script and edits prior to the ceremony

  • Consultation/coordination with ceremony participants (eulogists, musicians, etc.)

  • Officiating the ceremony

  • Providing a keepsake copy of the ceremony

I am Kathi Roy, a professionally trained wedding officiant and end of life celebrant.

After witnessing ceremonies that were not personal, I wanted to explore ways to imagine differently and give meaning to today's modern transitional ceremonies.

As a Life Cycle Celebrant, I’ve learned to co-create a ceremony for clients by really listening to their stories, desires and beliefs.

Life Cycle Celebrants are trained in the art of ceremony!

We are professional ceremony officiants who believe in the power and effectiveness of ceremony and ritual to serve basic needs of society and the individual. We collaborate with clients to create and perform personalized ceremonies that reflect the client's beliefs, philosophy of life and personality. We officiate all types of ceremonies and rituals: for welcoming babies and adoptions, coming of age, retirement, marriages, end of life and memorials.The opportunities to use ceremony to create connections among neighbors and families, and for healing and celebration are as varied as are the celebrants.
